Property should work like the best modern apps.
Intelligent, trusted, seamless, mobile-first. The bar isn't other property platforms. It's the apps people actually enjoy using every day.
Yitaku is the modern operating system for property — a Malta-built platform for everyone who buys, sells, lists, or manages a home. We're building the daily tool the industry hasn't, calm and substantive, designed for the people in the property journey rather than the gatekeepers between them.
Property is one of the most important decisions most people make. It's also one of the most fragmented. Buyers search across half a dozen portals, WhatsApp groups, and Facebook posts. Sellers chase leads across inboxes they never wanted. Agents juggle tools that were built before smartphones. The whole system still runs on structures designed for intermediaries, not for the people on either side of the transaction.
Yitaku started because that didn't have to stay true. The technology to fix it exists. The will to use it — calmly, carefully, without the noise that defines so much proptech marketing — is what's been missing. So we started building.
Intelligent, trusted, seamless, mobile-first. The bar isn't other property platforms. It's the apps people actually enjoy using every day.
Old portals compete for visits. We're building the place sellers, agents, and developers actually do their work — the daily tool, not the occasional channel. Traffic is rented. Workflow is retained.
Malta isn't our ceiling. It's our proving ground — small enough to learn fast, real enough to test the model, structured enough to support a serious platform. Once it works here, it scales to markets that look like Malta.
Yitaku was founded by Andrea Bartolo in Malta. After years watching the property industry resist modernisation — and watching the people inside it pay the cost — Andrea started building the platform he wished existed. Not as a side project. Not as a portal-with-a-twist. As the full operating system the industry has been waiting for.
Today Yitaku is a small, focused team. We operate lean by design — the platform is built by people who care about every detail, with AI in the loop where it makes us faster and out of the loop where the human judgment matters. The result is a product that ships quickly without feeling rushed, and a company that scales sensibly without losing the calm that defines the experience.
The next stops are Sicily, then the European markets that look like Malta — fragmented, ready, underserved by the platforms that should already exist. The thesis stays the same: build the operating system, monetise the people who get measurable value from it, and stay calm while the rest of the industry chases the next trend.
